Loader and Unloader
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Loader and Unloader to join our team. The successful candidate will be available to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings, to ensure efficient loading and unloading operations.
Work Schedule:
- Available to work from 9 am to 12 am, Monday to Saturday
- Available to work weekends and evenings, including Sundays and holidays
- Maximum 12 hours of work per day
- Maximum 50 hours of work per week
- Guaranteed minimum pay of $750 per week, even if 50 hours are not completed
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods, materials, and products from trailers and containers
- Ensure timely and efficient loading and unloading operations
- Be available to work on short notice, with a 20-minute response time
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve efficient operations
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation to and from work
