Garden Help - Part Time - $20/hr

Wanted – PART TIME garden/yard help, irregular flexible hours. $20/hr. I am a Master Gardener with a large residential garden and orchard, and need help throughout the year, sometimes a lot, sometimes not too much, sometimes none. Weeding, garden bed prep, winter cleanup of beds, shoveling and laying compost/mulch, collecting and removing pruned branches, etc., etc. There are some post holes I need dug. This year I need to build some garden structures (pergola for hardy kiwi, etc.) so someone with outdoor carpentry skills might also apply for those tasks, which I consider separate. Most of the time, I’ll be working alongside you. Often, I will give you a set of tasks which you can fulfill when you’re available, within a reasonable timeframe. Other times I will need you within a few days of calling you, so we can perform a specific task together. Also, my wife wants flower beds around the rest of the property regularly weeded. I’m looking for someone to start now (weather permitting) and work throughout 2025. Readington Twp. (Rt 202, 1/2 way between Flemington and Somerville). Please respond with any relevant experience you may have and whatever you think might distinguish you. Availability of a truck is a plus, but not required.
