Position Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our care team. During the licensing and pre-operational phase, the LPN will support administrative, compliance, and policy development tasks. Upon opening, the LPN will transition into patient-facing care including dosing, medication storage, and vital signs monitoring.
Responsibilities (Upon Facility Operation):
Administer and observe methadone and other approved medications per OTP protocol.
Conduct intake assessments including vitals and urine screens.
Support Medication Storage Plan and ensure DEA/State compliance.
Assist with emergency medical situations and monitor patient safety.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with HIPAA and OTP guidelines.
Pre-Opening Responsibilities:
Assist with development of nursing policies and compliance protocols.
Support preparation for licensing inspections and accreditation surveys.
Participate in orientation and setup of clinical workflows.
Qualifications:
Current NJ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
Experience in substance use treatment or behavioral health setting preferred.
Understanding of methadone or buprenorphine administration (training provided).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-based environment.
Additional Information:
This position will begin as a non-operational/onboarding role.
Candidates will have the opportunity to shape the clinical care environment from the ground up.
Must be available for early morning shifts once operational (Monday–Saturday operations).
