Job description
Oversee banquet event activities to meet the expectations of client and venue standards in terms of appearance, set-up, service, and food quality.
Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
Review the Event Resumes and menus before each event with the servers.
Pull and return liquor, beer, and wine for all events and complete consumption sheet for sales team.
Communicates with Chef and kitchen staff to coordinate timing needs
Meet and keep constant communication with the client, resolve guest challenges, ensuring guest satisfaction when needed.
Oversees the closing of the event, ensuring all proper closing procedures are executed
Completes all closing reports at the conclusion of each event
Attend relevant meetings
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure all event elements are executed flawlessly
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
