Summary
Achieve and maintain a rapport with customers and work to give them the best possible customer service for successful and industry leading valve manufacturer
Provide product information, pricing and technical assistance to customers
Interact with production, engineering and accounting departments ongoing to accomplish company objectives
Responsibilities
The CSR (customer service representative) receives by phone and email various requests for product information, pricing, lead times and order requests
Issue quotes and enter new orders using system software tools
Interact with production department to verify order status requests and expedite requests
Interact with accounting department to verify payment status and all related accounts receivable questions when necessary
Skills
Strong personal computer skills
Experience with Microsoft Outlook
Candidates must have a positive and upbeat attitude with a high energy level
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with diverse personalities
Resourceful, well organized, dependable, efficient and detail oriented
Education/Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent (College Associates degree preferred)
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of customer service/inside sales experience
