Accountant - Entry Level

Description We are seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join our team in the Financial Services industry, located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, 08003, United States. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity where you will be tasked with assisting in auditing and processing reconciliations. Responsibilities: Assist with auditing files to ensure accuracy and compliance Process reconciliations accurately and efficiently Utilize spreadsheet software to maintain and update financial records Monitor and update customer accounts as necessary Resolve any discrepancies found in auditing and reconciliation processes. Requirements Applicant should have at least 1 year of experience in the financial services industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required to manage and analyze financial data. Experience in bank reconciliations is mandatory to ensure accuracy of financial records. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is necessary. Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and draw conclusions. Excellent attention to detail to maintain accurate and complete financial records. Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Applicant should be a team player, willing to collaborate with various departments. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information is required. Applicant must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
