Job Title: TechnologistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Technologist to join our team. This role involves updating patient information in the Athena EMR system, providing excellent bedside care, and supporting outpatient, ortho, podiatry, and physical therapy cases. You will utilize the Care Flow scheduling system and ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.Responsibilities
Update patient information in Athena EMR system.
Support outpatient, ortho, podiatry, and physical therapy cases.
Use the Care Flow scheduling system.
Provide excellent bedside care and explain procedures to patients.
Clarify and follow doctor's orders and scan necessary information into PACS.
Maintain room cleanliness after exams and procedures.
Obtain patient information and chart notes for fluoroscopy procedures.
Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
Perform daily, monthly, semi-annual, and annual quality control.
Essential Skills
ARRT certification
BLS certification
Good bedside manner
Ability to handle high volume daily
Medical assisting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Athena or other EMR systems is a plus.
Fluoroscopy experience is a plus.
Work EnvironmentYou will be working with a team of three other techs in a brand-new facility with state-of-the-art equipment. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with optional overtime on weekends. The environment is supportive with opportunities for cross-training in other modalities to further your career. The team is cohesive, with many members advancing into leadership roles after long tenures.
