Description We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst based in Woodbridge, New Jersey. This role functions within the IT industry, offering a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be at the forefront of providing technical assistance to our team, troubleshooting issues, managing IT equipment, and improving our current systems.Responsibilities: Provide prompt support to troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technology issues, including desktop applications, custom applications, and computer hardware Manage and maintain inventory of IT equipment Oversee the installation, configuration, and support of network resources, including printers, VOIP phone systems, and other peripheral devices Update and maintain the status of tickets within the ServiceNow incident and problem management system Drive problem resolution across IT Support teams, cross-functional organizations, and external vendors, when necessary Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements and partner with other technology teams to design, plan, and implement resolutions Provide routine support for end users with IT-related issues in a timely and detail oriented manner Accurately log all requests using established request tracking software Set up and configure new computers along with the installation of application software Manage user accounts on systems such as network, email, phone, security, etc. Track and update IT inventory Diligently adhere to all confidentiality rules and policies Ensure that all problems are logged, resolved/assigned for resolution, prioritized, tracked, and communicated appropriately. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Desktop Support Analyst or in a similar role Proficiency in Cisco Technologies and Citrix Technologies Solid knowledge of Computer Hardware, Database, and Dell Technologies Experience with Active Directory and Apple Devices Familiarity with Backup Technologies and Configuration Management Proficient in Windows 11 and Microsoft Windows 10 Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred Relevant detail oriented certifications are a plus.
