Clinical Drug Supply Forecasting and Planning Specialist

The Clinical Supply Operations Specialist provides support to the Clinical Drug Supply & Logistics group in the Investigational Product (IP) forecasting process for one or more molecules across multiple Therapeutic areas supporting moderately complex studies as well as short-term departmental projects and on-going continuous improvement initiatives. Activities are performed on time, within budget and with good quality, in compliance with Regulatory Authorities’ regulations / guidelines and Regeneron Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) / Work Practice Documents (WPDs). This role applies to internally sourced studies and/or CRO/Partnered studies.In a typical day, you will:

Support the gathering of key assumptions for clinical supply forecasting

Translate relevant clinical documents into forecasting system requirements

Interface with different functional areas to support assumption gathering process

Proactively identify issues with assumptions and recommend solutions

Identify gaps or inconsistencies in assumptions vs pertinent clinical document

Recommend solutions to close information gaps

Create routine reports summarizing supply forecast recommendations and distribute to pertinent stakeholders

Reports will consist of excel macro files and PPT presentations

Create and maintain business tools to assist with forecasting process and analysis

Using spreadsheets or code to standardize certain calculations and output preparations

Assist with efforts regarding supply chain metrics and KPIs

Act as the project manager for small projects and initiatives

To be considered you must hold a Bachelor's degree and 2 years' related experience in sponsor side clinical supplies.2+ years of experience in the following fields or advanced degree 1+ year of experience:

Clinical Supplies

QA/Regulatory

Precision Medicine

Supply Chain

Manufacturing

Or equivalent research/commercial biopharma experience
