Clinical Trials Manager - Cancer Trials New Zealand

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityWe are seeking a Clinical Trials Manager to take responsibility for the development and operational management of one or more clinical trials within Cancer Trials New Zealand. Your duties will be varied but will centre around trial management, site monitoring and the business-as-usual operations and administration tasks needed to keep our research pushing forward.Below is a snapshot of some of your key areas of focus:Act as the main point of contact for the relevant trials and regularly communicate with the funders, sites, lead investigators, sponsor and key stakeholders, arranging and holding meetings as appropriateOversee trial related activities including timelines, milestones and specific requirementsEnsure regulatory requirements (including Māori consultation and review) are fulfilled and that all approvals and authorisations are securedSet up contracts (including the main agreement, site agreements, sub-agreements, service agreements – as applicable). Manage payments of sites, subcontractors, service providers etcWrite and submit trial progress/safety reports as and when required to regulatory bodies, funder, sponsor – as applicablePerform site monitoring visits at participating centres according to Standard Operating Procedures, ICH GCP and project-specific monitoring plansFor more detailed information, please refer to the Position Description.
