Job Title: Calibration TechnicianJob DescriptionCalibrate a variety of measurement and control instrumentation, including controllers, indicators, transmitters, and loggers. Measurement parameters include temperature, pressure, speed, mass, time, pH, CO2 content, and humidity. This position offers the opportunity to join a fast-growing company with a newly renovated, state-of-the-art corporate facility.Responsibilities

Calibrate a variety of measurement and control instrumentation.

Complete calibration data sheets in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Assist in managing contractors and reviewing their service reports for compliance.

Identify critical spare parts for potential repairs and maintenance.

Participate in Corporate communities of practice and engineering excellence forums.

Complete walk-through inspections of devices and respective labeling.

Perform Preventative Maintenance on various instrumentation, such as incubators, centrifuges, refrigerators, and freezers.

Maintain records of Measurement and Test Equipment ensuring compliant Test Accuracy Ratios.

Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment.

Review contractors' physical work and paperwork for technical accuracy and compliance with cGMP, GDP, and Company SOPs.

Essential Skills

5+ years of general calibration experience.

3+ years of calibration experience in pharmaceutical, biotech environment, or military calibration training.

Experience with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Experience working with electronic calibration management systems.

Knowledge and application of methodologies and tools (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, Structured problem solving).

General computer competency using email, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with self-motivation.

Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Previous experience in pharmaceutical/Life Sciences/medical device sectors.

Diagnostic and problem-solving skills in a team environment.

Preferred experience with Environmental system viewLinc.

Preferred experience with CMMS software, such as Maximo.

Work EnvironmentThis position operates within a GMP laboratory environment, performing calibrations on various equipment including temperature sensors, environmental chambers, and utility systems. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. There may be limited overtime with potential on-call opportunities in the future. Occasionally, work in a cleanroom environment is required, involving certification and participation in scheduled maintenance and on-demand troubleshooting. The role involves interfacing with other labs, engineering support, utilities, and the automation team.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.06 - $44.23/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
