We are looking for an experienced, professional and enthusiastic Duty Manager to lead the Front Office team on night shift at our Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort on a full time basis. This role will work x4 10hr shifts per week. The moment a guest steps into our hotel you will make them feel at home with your welcoming and warm presence. You have the important job of leading your team and driving exceptional customer experiences.Key Responsibilities Include:Providing an outstanding guest welcoming experience by demonstrating a commitment to service excellence and maintaining the front office and reception operational standards.Meeting guests and customers when they arrive and ensure they are settled in their roomsMaintaining professional, open and honest communication to assist guests and make accurate bookingsGuide & support the team in providing outstanding guest welcoming and experiences.Ensuring that all daily tasks are completed accurately and in a timely mannerResolve & respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional mannerMaintain accurate guest accounts and assist with daily reportingEffectively manage team roster to meet budgetsSupport Hotel Manager with recruitmentApproved Sponsor: Minor Hotels Australasia Limited (previously known as Oaks Hotels & Resorts Limited)Approx annual salary: $58,616.40 NZD (excluding KiwiSaver)Hourly rate: $28.18 NSD per hour (excluding KiwiSaver). Payment of wages will be processed on a fortnightly basis by direct credit to your nominated bank account.Expected hours: 40 hours per weekLocation: Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort - 327/343 Frankton Road, Queenstown, STH 9300, New ZealandSchedule 1 - Specific Terms and ConditionsJob Title: Duty ManagerEmployment Status: Full Time - PermanentCommencement Date: To be confirmedReporting to: Front Office Manager or General ManagerBreaks: Employees are entitled to paid rest breaks and unpaid meal breaks based on the number of hours worked.
