With inclusive leadership and a positive, passionate team, working with us is an opportunity to experience a culture of connection and care, where every action you take matters, creating innovative solutions for our customers and communities. The OpportunityOur Port Kembla Finance team is seeking a Procurement Specialist – Capital & Inventory to join our Procurement function. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.The Procurement team develops and manages vendor contracts for Manufacturing Operations, providing strategic guidance for procurement planning, tendering, cost management, and contract administration, while ensuring effective vendor relationships and contract performance.manage and maintain assigned capital and inventory contracts, ensuring delivery across cost, quality, risk, safety and environmental outcomes.build strong supplier relationships to support major projects and inventory optimisation.identify and implement cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.drive contract and vendor performance through process improvements, benchmarking and best practice adoption.collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement initiatives with project and operational requirements.support improvement initiatives by applying project management methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.More About You
You are a strong communicator and relationship-builder, with the ability to influence stakeholders and suppliers alike.
