Maintenance Foreman

Job Overview:The Maintenance Foreman is responsible for the health and safety of their reports while overseeing all day-to-day maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs to assure successful plant operationsRoles & Responsibilities:Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, safety being top priority. Assist in ensuring all regulatory (Federal, State, and local) requirements are understood and implemented.Assist in ensuring that all company policies and procedures that are relevant to the plant are implemented and in compliance.Develop a cohesive high performing work team by leading the Employee Performance Development process to include goal setting, feedback, and coaching, providing development planning and opportunities, and ensuring open communication channels. Oversees the general/preventive maintenance program and is responsible for ensuring that established procedures are followed and that all employees are trained in their respective functions, also responsible for assurance of an appropriate production environment.Maintenance shop inventory management, parts ordering.Assist in maintaining profitability by minimizing costs and maximizing productivity.Assist in ensuring the plant has adequate infrastructure and resources needed to operate effectively and provide a quality product to our customers.Oversee and manage hired contractors and capital improvement projects.Have a working understanding of all plant equipment and processes.
