Interstate Manufacturing Associates is looking for an experienced machinist to work flexible, part-time, first shift hours at a high-mix-low-volume machine shop in Sunapee, NH.
Responsibilities include
- Setting up and operating CNC and manual lathes and mills
- Reading engineering drawings
- Using a variety of measuring instruments (e.g. vernier calipers and micrometers) to ensure features of parts are within design tolerances
- Performing routine maintenance on shop equipment
- Maintaining shop documentation such as work travelers and job setup instructions
Skills/qualifications
- Excellent focus on safety
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in shop math
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Education and experience
- High school degree or equivalent
- 5 years' experience operating CNC machines
