Canterbury Apartments is seeking a reliable and trustworthy pool attendant to look after our guests and manage the swimming pool area. In this role, you will be required to welcome and attend to our guests, enforce safety rules, and manage pool equipment and facilities, among other duties.
Pool Attendant Responsibilities:
Setting up equipment, loungers, and other pool furniture.
Ensuring that the swimming pool, furniture, and facilities are clean, safe, and in usable conditions.
Welcoming guests and verifying residence at Canterbury Apartments.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the area surrounding the pool.
Enforcing safety protocols as set out by the Property Manager.
Monitoring the activity of guests through regular supervision and engagement.
Reporting any damages, incidents, or safety hazards to the Property Manager.
Managing the swimming pool cleaning schedule and performing daily inspections.
Perform routine maintenance of restrooms and trash receptacles.
Pool Attendant Requirements:
Recent CPR certification. (Not required for hire. Will pay for candidate’s certification course.)
Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
Ability to move and lift heavy furniture and equipment.
Knowledge of pool equipment and safety measures.
Consistent professional appearance and pleasant demeanor.
Willingness to work on weekends and holidays.
