Outbound Shipment Prepper
Job Summary:
The Outbound Shipment Prepper will be responsible for preparing and packing outbound shipments for our clients. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure that all shipments are accurate and meet client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Pack and prepare outbound shipments accurately and efficiently.
Ensure all outbound shipments comply with client specifications and shipping standards.
Label and document outbound shipments correctly.
Coordinate with the shipping team to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
Maintain a clean and organized packing area.
Perform quality checks to ensure all products are in good condition before shipping.
Assist with inventory management and restocking of packing materials.
Operate packaging and labeling equipment safely and efficiently.
Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and industry standards.
Communicate any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
Collaborate with other team members to improve packing processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Proficient in basic computer skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Experience with packaging and labeling equipment is a plus.
Currently working weekdays only, but have the ability to work weekends and holidays, as needed in the future.
