Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our crew. The ideal candidate is motivated, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. This is a hands-on position assisting with all phases of asphalt paving and site preparation.
Responsibilities:
Assist with setup, cleanup of job sites, ensuring all materials and tools are organized and accessible.
Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed
Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively (training provided)
Assist with loading/unloading tools, materials, and supplies
Maintain a clean and safe worksite
Follow instructions from supervisor and work effectively with crew members
Verify all hand tools are on the tool trailer and not left behind at the end of every projects
Comply with all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license (Medical card a plus)
Medical card (or ability to obtain) required to drive company trucks
Reliable transportation
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
Willingness to learn and retain skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately and safely
Paving or construction experience in labor-intensive role preferred but not required —we are willing to train the right candidate
Schedule & Pay:
Monday–Friday (weather permitting)
Seasonal: April–November (with potential to return each season)
Competitive pay based on experience
