HOUSEKEEPER AT WAKEDA CAMPGROUND

Are you an early bird? Do you like working in the morning and having the rest of your day free? If so, we might have the job for you!

We are looking for an adult (18+) who is friendly, hardworking, and thorough. A good sense humor also helps! It is critical to our success that every guest enjoys the cleanest facilities, regardless of the time of day or building being used. This position would be responsible for cleaning our multiple toilet/shower buildings throughout the property as well as cleaning our rustic camping cabins.

Schedule (May 15-October 1)

These are morning shifts and no evenings are required.

Saturdays @ 8AM: Bathroom Building Cleaning (approximately 3 hours)

Sundays @ 9:30AM: Rustic cabin cleanings (approximately 4-5 hours)

Mondays @ 8AM: Bathroom Building Cleaning (approximately 3 hours)

Tuesdays @ 8AM: Bathroom Building Cleaning (approximately 3 hours)

The schedule could fluctuate slightly based on occupancy and business needs.

Starting Pay: $15 per hour

AGE: 18+

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas ensuring all work is done in accordance with instructions provided. Daily checklists must be completed.

Thoroughly clean restrooms. Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors & counters, remove cobwebs and sweep and mop floors. Replenish all supplies and refill all dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper & hand soap.

Clean shower stalls.

Clean laundry rooms

Inspect all assigned areas daily and report all cleaning and maintenance discrepancies or deficiencies to Supervisor.

Clean rustic camping cabins. This involves dusting, vacuuming, wiping down mattresses, washing windows and cleaning floors.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct at all times.

Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times. Wakeda staff shirt (will be provided) must be worn while performing work duties.

Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.

Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.

Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Ability to utilize cleaning equipment and follow safety procedures.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Good verbal skills.

· Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.

· Ability to drive a golf cart throughout the property.

Tools & Equipment Used:

Use mops, cleaning solutions, hoses, scrub pads, brushes, sponges, brooms, hand tools, and personal protective equipment as required.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

· This position works in indoor and outdoor conditions and exposed to elements including, but not limited to, chemicals, odor, weather and environmental conditions.

· The employee must be able to work in an upright standing position for long periods of time, and must be able to sit, walk, crawl, climb, reach with hands and arms and lift up to 40 lbs. The employee must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed.

· The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
