We are Lumen Nature Retreat, a year-round glamping destination located in North Woodstock, NH in the heart of the White Mountains offering a mix of luxury glamping and cabins and we are currently seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Housekeeping Associates.
Full-time and part-time positions are both available.
About the role
The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for handling the daily cleaning of the guest accommodations and common facilities such as bathhouse and saunas.
Key Areas of Responsibility
==Units Cleaning==
Clean and prepare the units after every guest check-out to make sure they are ready for our upcoming guests, ensuring a 5-star guest experience in cleanliness. (Making beds, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping surfaces, arranging details inside the tents, etc)
Clear out/clean firepits after every check-out.
Dust/clean external furniture on the sites after every check-out.
Remove trash from individual campsites and dispose of it in the central location.
Report maintenance issues and help to fix them when it is possible.
Report damages made by guests.
==Bathhouse and Saunas cleaning==
Clean the shared bathhouse 2+ times daily. (Floors, all surfaces, shower stalls, toilets, sinks, mirrors, baseboards and walls)
Replenish bathhouse supplies to make sure they are always available for guests. (Toilet paper, Paper towel, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc)
Empty all trash cans several times a day.
Perform monthly deep cleans following our cleaning checklists.
Report maintenance issues making sure everything operates correctly during all times.
Clean the common saunas in the property.
==Supplies Inventory==
Keep the supplies storage/shelves area as organized as possible, maintaining the proper labeling system for storing the supplies.
Submit monthly inventory for cleaning supplies.
Submit monthly inventory for linen and bedding supplies.
Submit inventory requests to restock supplies and make sure we don’t run out of them.
==Compensation & Scheduling==
Compensation starts at $20 per hour, plus performance bonuses.
Full-time and Part-time positions available.
Typically 35+ hours/week for full-time and 16+ hours/week for part-time. (Shifts between 4-7 hours)
Year-round operations: We offer stability and a steady source of work with the opportunity to build a long-term working relationship.
Location: The position is mainly in North Woodstock, NH but we are also looking for someone flexible to potentially work at least once a week in our Warren (NH) location.
==Desired Competencies and Skills==
High School diploma.
2 years of Housekeeping/Laundry experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively in a professional tone.
Receptive to constructive feedback and ability to apply improvement action plans.
Attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must have reliable transportation.
Good understanding of navigating phone applications.
