Ophthalmic Technician / Medical Scribe
Private ophthalmology practice seeks experienced Ophthalmic Technicians / Medical Scribes or those interested in the medical field and eager to learn.
Duties include obtaining patient history, testing visual functions, performing ophthalmic imaging tests, assisting with patient flow and record keeping (such as updating patient data, recording assessments, care plans and medical codes and documenting patient visits).
Candidates should:
- Be detail-oriented
- Have a good work ethic
- Be a capable transcriber and speller
- Be eager to help provide a great experience for patients
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
