Part-Time Bookkeeper – Warren Street Family Counseling
Warren Street Family Counseling Associates has been providing respectful, compassionate, and strength-based counseling, medication services, and psychological testing for individuals and their families in New Hampshire since 1993. We now have locations in Concord and Durham.
We are seeking a special individual who would want to become an integral member of our family.
This would be a perfect position for someone who perhaps is retired and would want to work 15-20 hours a week from home. Come in to the office for training initially.
Qualifications must include:
A strong background in accounting and bookkeeping
Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
Familiarity with Simple IRA and its administration
Requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Must possess a positive attitude, be a team player, and an independent thinker capable of working on your own without supervision
And above all, requires organization, self-motivation, professionalism, and effective communication skills, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Reports to: Finance Committee
Hours/Salary Range:
15-20 hours per week
Wage range $20-$25 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
Duties include:
Member of the Finance and Admin committees. Attend video conference meetings as required. Prepare reports and do research as required
Prepare, analyze and monitor financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually)
Maintain general ledger through trial balance
Accounts receivable and payable
Month end closing and reporting to shareholders
Reconcile and balance bank statements. Presently done daily.
Handle company credit card, reconcile and pay
Company bi-monthly payroll preparation, submittal, and entry posting to the general ledger
Handle company pension plan, track and submit bi-monthly
Preparation of company budget on a six-month basis. This is part of the shareholder overhead calculation. Be aware of any deviations in the expenses and bring immediately to the attention of the Finance Committee
Prepare Annual Reports for the State of NH, and any other required reports such as census reports
Prepare 1099’s annually
Responsible for keeping track of shareholder’s shares and issuing new shares as needed
Liaison between shareholders and CPA
Year-end tax planning and preparation. Handling of K-1’s from CAP
Handle and provide assistance whenever necessary to ensure the financial wellbeing of Warren Street.
