Sr. Financial Analyst, Corporate Operations

Role Purpose:The Sr. Financial Analyst for Corporate Operations is responsible for supporting the financial planning and forecasting for NBCU Corporate Functions. This role will have significant interaction with leaders across operations and finance, particularly through the budget and estimate cycles. This role reports to the Manager, Corporate FP&A and is part of a 5-person team overseeing Corporate Functions Cost.Responsibilities:Responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintenance of budgets, estimates and long-range plan for assigned Corporate Functions DepartmentsManage closing process including journal entries, pacing, variance analysis reportingPartner with the corporate functions team to prepare operating reviews shared with the EVP of FP&A & Global Controllership LeaderPrepare financial results to share with senior leadersCreate management reports and presentations on a routine and ad hoc basisImplement process change to create value added financial analysis for assigned Corporate FunctionsContinually review financial processes to improve overall efficiency and accuracy and drive effective financial forecastingParticipate in other ad hoc projects
