Informa Connect Foodservice is looking for an innovative, passionate Senior Editor to contribute to Restaurant Hospitality (RH), the No. 1 publication featuring news, insights, and thought leadership for independent restaurants and chefs. This person will further RH’s market-leading position by developing, reporting, and writing high-quality content that drives audience engagement across digital, social, and multimedia platforms.JOB FUNCTIONContribute daily stories reporting on news from across the restaurant industryDevelop and create high-quality enterprise stories with regular frequencyAssign, copy edit, and collaborate with team of freelancers contributing regular weekly contentManage annual content calendar and coordinate necessary assets in advanceCollaborate with sales team to develop new content products with revenue potentialContribute to sister publication Nation’s Restaurant News where applicable Assign and copy edit content from editors at Nation’s Restaurant News when relevantFollow audience analytics and develop content such as galleries, lists, and accolades to supportCultivate restaurant industry expertise and leverage in content and external appearancesMaintain strong relationships with industry sources and company contactsParticipate in and create relevant multimedia content, including videos and podcastsKeep RH’s social media presence up to date and activeModerate virtual and live panels and conversations hosted by RHTravel to industry conferences for continued education, networking and as ambassador for RHSupport overall publication strategy through interactions with editorial director and leadership team
