Our training and development programs provide employees with career advancement in a diverse work environment.Inspectors perform in-process and final inspection operations on circuit card and module assemblies utilizing a microscope for most of the workday. Elements of a circuit card assembly include components, solder, adhesive and hardware. Modules include circuit card assemblies, cables/harnesses, solder and hardware. Inspection is in accordance with IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610. Due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.The Role:In this Inspector role, you will perform in-process and final inspection operations on circuit card and module assemblies. You will undergo intense training to become a certified inspector utilizing IPC-A-610 and other criteria to inspect assemblies. You will receive direction on work priorities from your team-lead, daily. You will support and work closely with the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) operations team while inspecting moderate to complex assemblies to ensure compliance to applicable quality specifications and standards.Who You Are:

Required Education, Experience, & SkillsEducation Required

High School Degree or GED equivalent

Tech School

Preferred Education, Experience, & SkillsExperience Preferred

Experience with electronics manufacturing

Experience using a microscope

Experience working as an inspector or within Quality Control AS9100 / AS9145 / ISO9000

Familiarity with IPC standards including IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620

Experience working within ESD and FOD controlled environments

Experience working within ESD and FOD controlled environments

Experience using computer-based manufacturing applications to track hardware and capture nonconformances

Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $46680 - $74687Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
