Assists with the maintenance and operations of maintaining and repairing video walls, video tape editing in various formats, creating graphics for the information channel, shooting and editing video tapes and programming of the broadcast room. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities
Edits films and videotapes to insert music, dialogue and sound effects, to arrange films into sequences and to correct errors, using editing equipment.
Operates broadcast quality video production equipment as an editor on programs.
Recommends modifications and partners with technician assigned to maintain video production equipment.
Studies scripts to become familiar with production concepts and requirements.
Reviews evaluations and recommendations in writing from subject matter experts, trainers, media and management staff and employees receiving the training to evaluate and improve video training programs.
Serves as primary contact to other production houses to ensure that the outside work completed meets standards.
Operates the video camera and recorder to provide special effects, sound and pictures of high technical quality.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
