The primary objective of this position will be to assume direct responsibility of end-to-end supply chain from demand to supply for all products supported at the High Bridge facility. The position will include direct management of global material planning and overall material planning for High Bridge manufacturing including presenting availability of materials used for assigned key accounts.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute cost-reduction strategies for material procurement and logistics.Plan demand and supply for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products from contract manufacturers and overseas partners.Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, implementing yearly cost-reduction plans while maintaining quality.Collaborate with the R&D team to develop NPI sourcing plans, alternate sourcing for long-lead items, and cost estimations.Identify and develop new sources for contract manufacturing and participate in the supplier selection process.Lead the supply chain team to excel in material planning, execution, and serve as a liaison between HB procurement and Asia factories for material movement.Oversee hands-on procurement and material planning, including direct team management at the High Bridge facility.Implement strategies for pricing, delivery, and contractual negotiations.Monitor and reduce inventory levels at the High Bridge warehouse through JIT, Kanban, and VMI agreements.Establish Purchasing and Logistics KPIs, including inventory valuation and Purchase Price Variance (PPV).Define and implement best practices for material planning processes.Perform other duties as assigned.
