Adecco Staffing is hiring a Palletizer Operator in Hanover, NH! This is a temp-perm position paying $18/hr. The shift will run 7:00PM-7:00AM Wednesday-Friday with the opportunity for 12 hours of OT on Saturday nights. POSITION DESCRIPTIONProgram, set up and operate RIMA / Avanti delivery, stacker, log bundler and palletizer equipment with the goal of delivering good signatures stacked or logged in accordance with Finishing guidelines to the staging area.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review job ticket and process relevant information.
Set up stacker, log bundler and palletizer for product size.
Program log bundler, palletizer and stacker to create load in accordance with Finishing guidelines.
Maintain adequate supply of skids, dividers and strapping in palletizer.
Attend folder/sheeter at start of forms.
Discard MR waste manually and via waste gate
Conduct product inspection.
Jog and pile signatures delivered via air table by stacker.
Save greens copies as required by lead operator.
Process overruns as required.
Consolidate hand-jogged bundles onto auto-palletized skids.
Retrieve load tags and place with skids, greens, and overruns.
Properly mark signature logs and attach loose signatures and job bag to load.
Assist with plate/blanket changes as needed.
Transport finished product to staging area.
Discard used plates to designated area.
Assist with web-ups.
Empty waste product barrels into bins, and the bins as directed by operator.
Assist with clearing of folder jams.
Perform RIMA and Avanti equipment preventative maintenance.
Inspect daily Hyster Walkie powered lift truck.
Conform to relevant Best Practices
Support the Deming effort throughout the Company.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures, while maintaining an overall awareness of safety within the workplace.
Perform other job related duties as may be assigned or required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma/GED.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
Required to work overtime according to departmental policy
