We’re proud of brands, like COLORBOND ® steel that inspire and protect everything from hospitals to bridges and stadiums.The OpportunityOur Western Sydney Service Centre is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator, to join our team based in Erskine Park.We are underway with a significant capital project (circa $415 million investment) to expand our operations to create additional metal coating capacity, to service our Sydney market and support the production of premium branded products, such as ZINCALUME® and TRUECORE®.   We are constructing and installing a new metal coating line within our operations precinct located in Templar Road, Erskine Park (approximately 10 mins from Wallgrove Road/Eastern Creek M7 exit).  Enjoy free on-site, secured parking. This is an exciting time to join our team, as you will be part of the team responsible for creating the systems and building the strategy for mechanical maintenance of our new metal coating line.  You'll be a key part of the installation and commissioning.  As you navigate maintenance related challenges that come with getting a production line operational for the very first time, you'll be rewarded with a high sense of ownership and personal and professional satisfaction, being a key subject matter expert, not only within your own team, but the wider BlueScope business, state of the art metal coating being a key strategic area for our future growth.   This is a permanent full-time dayshift opportunity with BlueScope.        What Will You Do?Joining a high energy team, who are enthused by and dedicated to the success of this project, you will:support the project by delivering maintenance plans and supervision for new and modified equipmentundertake technical reviews of new equipment and provide feedback and recommendationsprovide high levels of maintenance expertise to the constructor and install teamsdevelop and implement training packagescoach, mentor and develop teams in maintenance principles and processMore About YouAs an experienced maintenance coordinator, you’ll work effectively in cross-functional groups and thrive in a dynamic environment.
