This recruitment is for an Information Technology (IT) Professional 4 position within the Governor's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) located in Carson City, Nevada. IT Security Professionals administer security policies, security operations, and/or maintain oversight of information systems and data within the assigned area of information security responsibility. The incumbent will work with stakeholders and partners (internal and external) to improve and execute a comprehensive incident response program and process within the State by acting as a point of contact for external Federal and private Security Operations Centers (SOCs) for security alerts, triaging reports for routing and prioritization, researching threat intelligence for Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and applicability to the State, and applying IOCs to appropriate defenses. The incumbent will also work with partner agencies on improving continuous monitoring of State resources.
