As a Superintendent you will be overseeing the project assigned to you in all aspects. You will work primarily in the field managing sub-contractors. Your role will also include any project management necessary to keep the project on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain high standards for OSHA safety, quality, and attitude on self-work crews.
- Direct subcontractor work in field, track changes, and resolve issues before delay of work occurs.
- Plan, schedule, and lead TEAM self-performed work in the field.
- Develop and maintain schedules and tools for communicating work plan, flow and progress to crews, other trades, project teams and management.
- Track existing field conditions and cross reference with plans all work is being completed
- Track all material, deliveries, to site and follow up with any missing items to prevent project delay.
- Submit daily construction reports with approved pictures attached.
- Submit timely RFI/Clarifications through email to Architects, PM’s, Engineers, as needed to ensure project matches plans while maintaining structural requirements needed.
- General Knowledge of State Construction building code for CA and NV.
Qualification Requirements
- Evidence of exceptional experience in the field of construction management.
- Must be proficient in the use of email, internet, Excel, Microsoft Word, and other scheduling programs.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience on commercial and/or residential projects as a Superintendent with an emphasis in commercial restaurant and general construction.
- Must excel at reading and interpreting blueprints in all aspects from Site Plan to finish including electrical, concrete, plumbing, etc
- Experience managing self-perform teams in the field of framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, painting, concrete.
- Ability to work within a high-performance, cross functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals.
- General understanding of CA and NV building codes.
