Position Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Journeyman Carpenter to join our crew. This is a year-round position for someone who values steady work, teamwork, and the satisfaction of building exceptional homes. The right candidate is confident in their skills, self-motivated, and takes pride in precision and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Framing and Finish Carpenter, you will perform a variety of high-level carpentry duties including:
Framing & Finish Carpentry: Erect scaffolding, install trim packages (baseboards, casing, window & door trim), and fabricate/repair stair railings, handrails, and more.
Installation & Fabrication: Work on a range of materials such as siding, trusses, sheeting, windows, and doors.
Planning: Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Demolition & Remodeling: Lead demolition tasks and contribute to remodeling efforts on custom homes.
Collaboration: Work closely with other trades to ensure timely, high-quality project completion. Mentor apprentices and contribute to a positive team environment
Power Tool Operation: Comfortably operate all standard power and hand tools required in the trade.
Requirements for Success:
Experience: Minimum 6+ years as a carpenter, including extensive work in framing and finish carpentry. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and finishes.
Tools: Must provide your own standard hand tools and tool bag (additional project tools will be supplied).
Safety Certification: OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
Licensing: Valid NV or CA Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Documentation: Proper legal documentation to work in the United States.
Reliable Transportation: Must be able to drive to Incline Village job sites as well as to Reno or Zephyr Cove area, with a vehicle equipped to safely drive in winter driving conditions.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform construction tasks safely and effectively.
