A midsize drywall company is expanding into the Reno, NV market. We specialize in delivering high-quality framing & drywall solutions for commercial projects. Our focus is on metal stud framing, drywall, insulation, and acoustical ceilings, supported by union field staff. Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong local knowledge of the Reno, NV market, a proven track record in estimating and managing commercial drywall projects, and an established network of local customers and suppliers. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately estimate costs and prepare detailed proposals for drywall projects, including materials, labor, and timelines.

Manage multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Build and maintain relationships with local customers, contractors, and suppliers to grow our business presence in the Reno market.

Collaborate with field teams and office staff to ensure project specifications are met.

Identify opportunities for growth and improvement in the Reno region.

Monitor and manage project performance, addressing any issues or changes promptly.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in drywall estimating and project management.

Local Expertise: Strong knowledge of the Reno, NV construction market and an established local customer base.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools. Onscreen Takeoff, Quickbid, Winbid, Plexxis

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with fieldworkers, foremen, and office staff.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field is preferred but not required.
