Position Description:
Xogenous Business Development Representatives must have high-energy, self-motivation, and a desire to succeed. Candidates will generate leads and drive demand for our market-leading IT services through a combination of cold-calling and email messaging. They must thrive in a fast-paced, high-activity environment, and be willing to spend significant time on the phone and in generating email to prospective customers. Candidates will develop leads, research companies, set appointments, and keep the sales CRM system up-to-date as an integral part of the sales team.
Candidates must have excellent computer, organizational, and communications skills as well as display a professional appearance. Work will be in our Carson City office on weekdays during core business hours. They must be willing to learn about, and remain current, on the latest advancements in computers and data center operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline
- Make outbound calls daily on targeted companies
- Promptly respond to and qualify inbound marketing leads
- Help create and prioritize target account lists
- Research and build new account records within our sales CRM system including adding contacts, company information, and other relevant data
- Acquire key prospect data from conversations, periodicals, and online sources, and accurately record the information in our sales CRM
- Schedule initial sales presentations.
- Prospect, educate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities
- Attain or exceed performance metrics on dials, profiles, appointments, and conversions to qualified opportunities
- Keep abreast of the industry and company offerings becoming a trusted resource to prospects
Required Skills:
- Minimum 0-2 years sales prospecting experience
- Ability to carefully track activity within our sales CRM system
- Technical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent follow-up abilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Able to generate and qualify excellent customer opportunities
- Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting
- Excellent time management & organizational skills
- Experience with a sales CRM system a plus
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred
