Are you a passionate home cook with a flair for Asian cuisine looking for a flexible side gig? We are seeking a skilled and reliable cook to do meal prep for our household. This role involves cooking for two people, providing 5 dinners and 5 lunches per week. You would come to our home with a fully-equipped kitchen once a week for 6 hours to prepare the meals + 1 hour for grocery shopping.
Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare 5 dinners and 5 lunches per week for two people
Create menus that focus on high-protein, low-carb meals with lots of vegetables
No beef, octopus, minimize the use of pork
Manage a weekly grocery budget of $200-300
Ensure meals are prepared and stored properly for freshness throughout the week
Requirements:
Proven experience as a home cook
Familiarity with Asian cuisines Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Fusion
Ability to create diverse and appealing menus that meet dietary restrictions
Strong knowledge of nutrition and healthy cooking practices
Reliable and trustworthy
Compensation:
$30 per hour
Approximately 6 hours of cooking + 1 hour grocery shopping per week
