Job Overview
Chambers Landing Bar & Grill is looking for experienced and enthusiastic Bartenders to join our team! As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to our guests while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Responsibilities
- Maintain Organized Workspace: Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to provide optimal service to guests.
- Clean Glassware and Bar Utensils: Wash and polish glassware and bar utensils to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Manage Inventory: Monitor inventory levels of beverages, garnishes, and other bar supplies, and place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Restock the Bar: Continuously restock the bar with beverages, ice, garnishes, and other supplies to meet guest demand and minimize wait times.
- Bar Setup and Breakdown: Set up the bar area before opening and break down the bar at the end of the shift, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Skills
- 2 Years of Bartending Experience: Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment is required.
- Working Knowledge of Wine & Cocktail Recipes: Proficiency in preparing a variety of cocktails and knowledge of wine selection and service.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide friendly and attentive service to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication with guests and colleagues to take orders, make recommendations, and address any concerns or questions.

Requirements
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older due to the legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages in California.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- All candidates must possess a valid Food Handlers Certification issued by an accredited agency recognized by the State of California. This certification ensures that servers have a basic understanding of food safety principles and practices.
- Candidates must also hold a current Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification, which is mandatory for individuals involved in the sale or service of alcoholic beverages in California. This certification emphasizes responsible alcohol service practices and helps prevent alcohol-related incidents.
- Legal Authorization to Work: All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and comply with all federal and state employment regulations.These requirements are essential to ensure compliance with California state laws and regulations governing the service of food and alcoholic beverages.
