About the Role:
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on being of service and enjoys creating a seamless, harmonious environment. Your contributions will directly support our ability to focus on our creative work while maintaining a home that feels warm, inviting, and beautifully organized. Some months will be busier (up to 60–80 hours), and others lighter, with an average of flexible hours that fit your schedule.
You’ll play an essential role in making our household run smoothly, taking care of details that allow us to focus on the bigger picture while knowing everything is well cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
Household Duties:
Light cleaning and tidying, such as keeping the kitchen spotless, doing laundry, making beds, and organizing spaces.
(Note, we do have cleaners who come every few weeks do do a full heavier clean).
Meal prep and light cooking of simple healthy meals, and on occasion when we have guests preparing and serving group breakfasts and putting together après-ski spreads.
Occasionally preparing the home for guests by tidying, setting up guest rooms, and creating a warm, welcoming environment as well as managing their needs during their stay.
Helping maintain household gear like bikes and skis and coordinating vehicle maintenance.
Personal Assistant Tasks:
Running errands, including mailing packages, dry cleaning, grocery shopping, and light shopping.
Scheduling appointments, maintaining organized lists, and keeping household supplies stocked.
Assisting with hosting duties when guests stay over, such as managing guest needs and preparing meals or snacks.
Hours & Flexibility
Support during busier months (up to 60–80 hours monthly). Ideally Mondays/Wednesdays & Fridays and some occasional weekends when guests come to visit.
Lighter months when we are travelling may average fewer hours but maintain a steady workflow.
Gas reimbursement for driving done during errands.
What We Offer:
Compensation: $35 per hour, with flexibility in workload based on the month.
