Accounting Manager

Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Manager for our client in the Gaming/Hospitality industry. This is an immediate need that can be temporary to permanent for the right candidate. As the Accounting Manager you will oversee tall day to day accounting operations, review and supervise staff members, and handle reconciliations and month end close preparation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys managing teams and is looking to learn from a Director of FinanceResponsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring all financial records are precise and current Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department through the development and implementation of policies and procedures Handle the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, journal entries, and reconciliations Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and productive environment Execute the month-end and year-end closing process Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, providing insights and recommendations based on findings Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals, ensuring a seamless collaboration Manage the usage of accounting software systems and Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient operations Oversee the billing functions, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) for accuracy and compliance Conduct auditing and balance sheet account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy Handle month-end journal entries and account reconciliation for accurate financial reporting.If interested, please apply today and for immediate consideration call Keisha Lawrence at 775-313-0454Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Experienced in ERP Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Practical knowledge in auditing Experience in handling billing functions Skilled in executing journal entries and month-end journal entries Proficiency in account reconciliation and balance sheet account reconciliation Expertise in month end close proceduresRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
