Description Robert Half is seeking a Bookkeeper for a non-profit company here in Reno. As part of the team, the Bookkeeper will carry out crucial financial operations, grant billing and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring the smooth running of our financial department. Responsibilities: Execute vital financial operations including management of accounts payable and receivable Maintain and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles Process payroll accurately, reviewing timecards for precision and reporting areas of concern to the Executive Team Carry out month and year-end processes effectively Balance QuickBooks accounts and perform bank reconciliation processes monthly Prepare routine financial reports and ensure the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions and manage financial records Assist with the annual budget process and monitor budget vs. expenses and receivables Conduct research on grant requirements and allowable expenses, ensuring spending is according to grant specifications and budget Build and maintain relationships with grant administrators, recommend budget adjustments, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual grant reports.If interested in this opportunity, please apply today and for immediate consideration call Keisha Lawrence at 775-313-0454Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations Strong Bookkeeping skills Proficient in Data Entry Expertise in Microsoft Excel Experience with Month End Close procedures Knowledge of Payroll processes Proficiency in using QuickBooks software Experience in Grant Accounting is a plusRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
