Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Christian Elementary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating young minds, especially in Biblical teaching, and creating a positive learning environment in a multi-grade setting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the curriculum
- Provide instruction in various subjects (including Bible lessons) to multi-grade elementary school students
- Mentor and support students in their academic and spiritual growth
Skills:
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Knowledge of childcare best practices
- Ability to educate students with diverse learning needs
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Have two or more years of classroom teaching experience.
Preferred - a current teaching certificate.
Adherence to the Village Christian Academy Statement of Faith.
Faithfully attending a Bible-believing church
