Full or part time position
Required: A clear understanding of general ledger accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, proficient in Quickbooks, experience in filing Calif sales, use and payroll taxes. Minimum 7 years experience.
Prefer (but not required): Accounting Degree, related experience in P.O.S. systems integration with quickbooks.
Responsibilities: G/L entries, reconciling bank accounts, reconciling POS transactions and credit card processing, filing sales tax reports, payroll tax reports, updating necessary insurance, business tax, etc., Accounts Receivable collection, monthly accruals and recurring entries, implement internal controls, monthly financial audit and analysis, assist in year end compilation of financials for tax preparer. Very organized, very responsible is a must!
