CityLaughlin StateNV ShiftDay Type of ShiftFull Time DepartmentSurveillance Surveillance Technician Aquarius (Laughlin, NV) Description:Summary:Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all surveillance equipment as assigned by the Surveillance Manager and/or Director to ensure smooth transitions and maximum performance for all users. Follow all operating procedures, safety regulations and Golden Entertainment’s policies and procedures. Ensure the Surveillance department is compliant with the Nevada Gaming Regulations pertaining to Surveillance Standards for non-restricted licensees, Category "A".Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Perform all general maintenance to Surveillance hardware and software to ensure all equipment is operating according to company guidelines and state regulation

Maintain a detailed report of all installation, repair, and replacement of equipment and tools

Engineer and implement the installation, support and maintenance of new server hardware and software as it relates to the surveillance digital networks

Assist with all Gaming Digital Recording compliance documents and records

Analyze and resolve faults with any digital equipment, hardware, software or network issues

Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program of all digital surveillance equipment and hardware

Participate in the installation, maintenance and repair of all surveillance and electronic security equipment

Participate in additions and deletions to the surveillance system and security surveillance system

Assist in the preventative maintenance on all casino surveillance and security surveillance CCTV equipment

Assist in the maintenance of panic alarm systems throughout the property (Code 99)

Perform routine cleaning of Surveillance domes and lenses

Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position

Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:Qualifications

2 years of casino and/or surveillance Technical experience preferred, not required

Gaming surveillance department experience preferred, but not required

2 years experience performing same or similar job duties preferred

Knowledge of how a monitor room is cabled and how the surveillance system operates

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Basic knowledge of computer networking

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

At least 21 years of age

Must be able and willing to complete Genetec certification

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal

Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

Verify right to work in the United States

Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying up to 50 lbs.

Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and the like

Ability to work in high places and enclosed spaces

Ability to communicate vocally utilizing portable radios and telephones (critical)
