As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are delivered promptly and safely to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport products to designated locations.
Plan and execute delivery routes in the most time-effective manner, considering traffic conditions and customer
requirements.
Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care to prevent damage.
Verify the accuracy of delivery orders by comparing them with relevant documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor during deliveries.
Collect payments from customers, as required, and accurately handle cash or electronic transactions.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and report any issues promptly.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring safe driving practices at all times.
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate daily delivery schedules and maintain effective
communication channels.
Maintain delivery records, including proof of delivery, mileage, and fuel consumption, for reporting and auditing
purposes.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to obtain all state and local licenses and permits required to perform the job.
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects repeatedly.
Familiarity with using navigation devices, such as GPS, to optimize delivery routes.
Traveling to, and from northern Nevada, including Reno, Winnemucca, Elko and Ely.
Ability to sometimes work long hours, up to 16 in one shift
once a week.
Basic computer skills for recording delivery information.
High school diploma or equivalent.
