The Shop Manager position will ensure complete customer satisfaction by managing all aspects of a project for custom commercial architectural millwork projects. Projects consist of construction and install using drawings, specifications, and job specific requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Interpret architectural drawings and blueprints in order to perform take offs and estimates for customer projects
Analyze job specifications, blueprints and supporting documents to ensure that all items are properly identified and included on the customer quotation
Determine and calculate quantities of materials specified for projects
Preparation of material order requirements to streamline order placement by purchasing
Provide customer support as needed
Maintains professional, cooperative relationships with all internal and external clients
Actively and professionally collaborates in the activities of cost estimating as a function of sales, project management, purchasing and production prep.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with commercial architectural millwork projects required.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Ability to work under pressure and hit deadlines
