We are seeking a highly motivated Mitigation Technician to join our team. We are willing to train. As a Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations involving water, and mold damage, and implementing mitigation procedures to minimize further damage and restore affected properties to their pre-loss condition.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess damage to properties.
Implement mitigation procedures to prevent further damage, including water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and signing contacts.
Perform mold remediation following industry standards and guidelines.
Document all mitigation activities, including photos, measurements, and equipment used.
Communicate effectively with your leads.
Always ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Maintain and organize equipment inventory and perform routine maintenance checks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus but not a requirement.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for water and mold mitigation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions.
- Valid driver's license.
