Broken Yolk Cafe is looking to fill Kitchen Lead positions in our current and future stores.

We will be holding open interviews in our Town Square and Henderson locations on

Wednesday 6/26 and Thursday 6/27 At 2 pm. These are open interviews, no need to call just show up

Kitchen Lead:

Description: The Kitchen Lead oversees most aspects of the Back of the House in their location. This position is responsible for ensuring that their BOH runs smoothly and that both The Broken Yolk Café standards are followed. This position requires the Lead to work closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager.

Controllables:

- Communicating any Vendor issues to GM and OM to ensure all they are resolved in a timely manner.

- Ensure that Food Safety Standards are followed, and cleanliness is kitchen is upheld to hold an “A”

rating by the Health Department at all times.

Requirements:

- Must be Serve Safe Certified

- Must be a Master of ALL BOH positions

Responsibilities:

- Conduct interviews with GM and complete the hiring processes.

- Making sure that training in all positions BOH is being done by BYC standards. Also, that employees are being crossed trained in all BOH positions.

- Making sure Supervisors are trained to have working knowledge of all positions and able to manage the kitchen for solo shifts

- Build and work with GM/DM that schedules is posted in a timely manner

- Ensure that all deliveries are checking against the invoice, any discrepancies are communicated to the GM and OM

- All Deliveries are put away as soon as possible

- Conduct temperature checks daily and keep a weekly temp log.

- Communicating any maintenance issues to be fixed to the GM/OM.

- Enforce daily and weekly side work charts. Work with the GM/OM on enforcing the standards.

- Hourly employees must be checked out by Lead/GM/OM before clocking out at end of day

- Ensure that the cook line is stocked and ready for the day.

- Ensure food is coming out of the window within the appropriate SOP times and the food presentation is following BYC standards.

- Ensure that each cook on the team is performing up to standard.

- Keeping the overall kitchen clean

- Help the prep cooks with recipe standards

- Plan for and complete catering orders as they come in.
