Program ManagerEnergy Efficiency ProgramsLas Vegas, NVICF is adding staff to its energy efficiency team in Las Vegas, NV. If you are a project manager in the energy efficiency market with 3 – 5 years’ experience managing residential and/or commercial programs for utility clients, we’d like to hear from with you. Key ResponsibilitiesOverall responsibility for managing all components of the program team and delivering savings and program performance goals.
Coordinate and collaborate with a multi-functional project team comprised of program operations, account management, and marketing specialists to ensure timely and professional completion of all tasks and achieve specific program performance indicators and goals
Work with external contractors and professional organizations secure their support and participation in our programs.
Manage budgets, staff and subcontractors to meet financial targets
Proactively develop and implement solutions to meet changing market needs
Track and report program status to ICF management and to client
Continue to enhance and expand ICF’s residential and/or commercial energy practice
Prioritize program activities as necessary to meet performance goals
Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree
5+ years of experience developing and managing successful energy efficiency programs sponsored by electric or gas utility companies, including responsibility for financial performance and achieving energy savings goals
Working level knowledge and experience with technical and financial aspects of energy management
Understanding of energy savings calculations and energy efficiency measures typically applicable to residential sector
Experience managing consulting projects with public sector clients, including providing quality control and budget accountability
Familiarity with related energy efficient and renewable technologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Ability to work with data to extract insights and determine your next steps
Preferred Skills/ExperienceManagement or technical consulting experience
Experience managing midstream energy efficiency residential and/or commercial programs
Strong understanding of trade ally business models and a proven track record of growing and maintaining strong and productive relationships
Positive and collaborative team spirit
Sales/business development experience
Professional SkillsExcellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Proven ability and experience handling multiple roles and priorities simultaneously
Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team
Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
Ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities
