ABOUT US:The licensing & regulatory compliance (LRC) team is an internal service provider that supports Sportradar's fast growth by ensuring compliance with all gaming and betting laws and regulations.  As a member of the LRC team, the Junior Research & Licensing Analyst (Analyst) will be a centralized versatile team member primarily responsible for gathering, reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing relevant new and existing laws, rules, and regulations that apply to Sportradar’s products and services in emerging and changing markets.  The Analyst may also work directly with the existing licensing team staff in supporting corporate license application initiatives, as needed; this could include drafting licensing applications for Sportradar group entities in the sports betting space and maintaining a system of records and processes needed to optimize and scale Sportradar’s licensing efforts.THE CHALLENGE:Tracking sports betting and iGaming legislative and regulatory efforts of new and existing jurisdictions with special focus on licensing requirements.Research, populate, and maintain an internal library of country/state/territory specific regulatory detail pages for company’s collaboration software tool.Update and maintain existing sports wagering approved events tracker for US states.Collaborate with Trading and Live Production teams for the timely submission of regulator required incident reports.Review and confirm licensing and regulatory compliance contract language as needed.Assist with quarterly regulatory reporting, as needed.Assist with regulatory news & updates article tracking & reviews for internal monthly market intelligence report, as needed.Develop a deep understanding of Sportradar’s products and services and advise on (i) regulatory and licensing issues for the same, (ii) adjustments of gaming and supplier license applications and subsequent renewals thereof, (iii) and go-to-market strategies surrounding the same.Organization and upkeep of official records, correspondence, and notices regarding Sportradar’s licensing activities, as needed.Maintaining a licensing software with the goal of optimizing and scaling administrative work associated with gaming and supplier license applications, as needed.Drafting licensing applications for group entities, as needed.Provide support to personnel completing group entity license applications, sending reminders, and implementing timelines to achieve Sportradar’s application deadlines, as needed.Collaborate with members of the global LRC on licensing and regulatory matters as well as with members of compliance, finance, sales, and legal, and support associated requests, as needed.ABOUT YOU:2+ years of similar licensing and regulatory compliance experience.Legal background preferred with heavy focus on research.Experience in compliance is an advantage but not required.Familiarity with software solutions such as Confluence, SharePoint, and OneComply is preferred.Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.Fluent in Spanish with excellent written and oral communication skills is helpful.Strong organizational and administrative skills and attention to detail are required.Demonstrated ability to effectively perform in a fast-paced environment with both long- and short-term deadlines is required.In-house experience preferred; enterprise business experience in supporting a domestic and/or international legal team.Knowledge of gaming and betting laws and regulations is preferred.Ability to communicate effectively with business professionals and other in-house attorneys and outside counsel is required.A willingness to work autonomously and independently, as well as part of a team, and exert ownership over the licensing administration is required.OUR OFFER:Take over an exciting role which is extremely rich in variety.Collaborate and support colleagues from all over the world.The opportunity to work and develop within an inspiring and fast-growing company.A challenging but rewarding and fun environment.Working in a global, multilingual organization, with a dynamic environment and great people.OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:Initial Screening: A quick chat with our Talent Acquisition Partner to understand your background and expectations. Two Technical Interviews: Meet with the Technical team and later with the Hiring Manager to dive into your solution, as also discuss team fit.Onsite Interview: Meet with the local team and tour our local office for a final meet and greet.Finals Steps: Receive feedback and, if successful, an offer!  Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000

Sportradar intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and location.
