JOB DESCRIPTION
The instructor provides collaborative leadership to students within the Cardiovascular Sonography program
Responsibilities and Duties (partial list):
Assist Admissions with product knowledge
Implement retention programs
Develop and maintain quality of instruction
Work with instructors and students to maximize student's readiness for job placement
Stay informed of industry standards and incorporate into program offerings accordingly
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to provide a positive and effective learning environment
Knowledge and understanding of professional career paths for which students are enrolled
Motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm for teaching
Credentials and Experience:
Appropriate credential(s) specific to the Cardiovascular/Echo sonography field (ARDMS, ARRT, CCI, etc.)
The equivalent of minimum three years full-time clinical experience as a sonographer, cardiac sonographer, and/or vascular technologist; and
An academic degree, not lower than an associate’s degree,
Education & Experience:
Graduation from an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Echo, Cardiovascular Sonography, or equivalent
Compensation: $50 hr and UP (depending on experience) + Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, matching 401k, PTO, and more!
