Our shop is interested in hiring an applicant to assist in the design and production of various metal parts, as well as estimating the cost of said parts.
Ideally, one would be proficient with Solidworks and 2-D Autocad. We also use some proprietary software to communicate with our machines, which we are willing to train on.
Experience operating or programing CNC machinery is a plus.
Knowledge of Excel is also desirable, as we use spreadsheets to estimate and would like to train applicants to possibly assist with that.
We are a "job shop", so you'll be working with a wide array of designs and parts. Flexibility and quick thinking are a must.
